Johnathan Majors acknowledging Bale and Cooper for their early boost of confidence to him: www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-features/devotion-jonathan-majors-on-his-most-emotional-scene-1235267442/"Majors credits much of his success to the confidence he received while working with Christian Bale and Scott Cooper on the set of 2017’s Hostiles. At the time, Cooper actually predicted to him that he’d be a lead actor in no time, and the writer-director made sure to remind Majors of his foresight at a recent event. Overall, Majors still believes that working with Bale and Cooper is his finest moment so far. “Truth be told, to this moment, that’s probably the biggest moment in my career. He’s Christian Bale. He doesn’t have to be nice. He doesn’t have to be generous,” Majors recalls. “But in our scenes together, I saw that he was actually being vulnerable. He was really coming out and giving me his talent, and I was giving him my talent. [Bale and Cooper] really gave me a lot of fuel.” "

From Marc Malkin's column in Variety: variety.com/2022/film/columns/jonathan-majors-dennis-rodman-1235439963/"Lucy Boynton says that before working with Christian Bale in Scott Cooper’s “The Pale Blue Eye,” she was aware of all the talk that the Oscar winner could be a bit gruff and difficult. As I’ve said many times, I’ve always had fun interviewing Bale — he’s personable, jokey and not intimidating. “I heard those rumors and very much braced myself to stay at a distance and give him his space for whatever his process is,” Boynton told me at the Academy Women’s Luncheon. “But he was incredibly engaged with the whole crew and cast and was just incredibly kind and collaborative. There are some scenes in our film that reach an emotional peak, and he was so nurturing of everybody in that environment. He’s so nice, and he really is so easy to be around.” Boynton cracked that she might start a “Christian Bale Is Kind” campaign to help mend his reputation."

Hanya Yanagihara, the author of famous novel A Little Life, that is being staged in West End starring James Norton and Luke Thompson, fan-casts Bale in hoped-for TV production of her novel. www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-63663348 "I would love to have it made as a mini-series. I think a middle-aged Jude would be very good with Christian Bale in the role. But I also like the American actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt."

Robert Duvall mentioned Christian Bale with praise in an interview with Canadian journalist W. Andrew Powell Q: "Thank you very much. I’m looking forward to seeing your film Hustle with Adam Sandler." A: “He’s great to work with, Adam Sandler. The best. Oh, what a guy. Great guy, yeah. And also with… Christian Bale [for The Pale Blue Eye]. Wonderful young actor. And in fact, I think Coppola approached him to play the lead in his new big movie… There’s always room for new blood. I always tell young actors that there’s always room at the table for new actors.” www.thegate.ca/film/054619/robert-duvall-talks-the-godfather-marlon-brando/

CB is one of those people that John Wick director Chad Stahelski (and seems like Keanu himself, the way Chad framed the opening of his answer) would love to collaborate with in the future. From an interview with Screen Rant: screenrant.com/john-wick-chapter-4-director-chad-stahelski-interview/Q: Now, Keanu Reeves has had many fantastic dance party partners throughout his career as and especially here in John Wick. Is there anybody that he hasn't shared the screen with that you would love to be in the John Wick universal heaps? Chad: "So many people. So many! Keanu and I have a whole board of people we'd love to work with. If you told me Cillian Murphy was going to be in a John Wick movie, I'd be like, "Oh my God!" If you told me Jackie Chan or Jet Li, or Jason Statham? If you said Stallone was going to make a cameo! I'm a little bit old school, so the dream list is, 'Clint Eastwood is going to make an appearance.' Christian Bale, Chris Hemsworth, or Hugh Jackman; Matt Damon and all these people that I love." I wish CB would get on the phone with them to discuss a collaboration. Come on!!!
