A 2000 news bite from WENN on IMDb: Actor Christian Bale is so desperate not to become a celebrity he won't even hire a publicist. The American Psycho (2000) star has passed up representation from some of the biggest PR firms in Hollywood. Instead he plans to keep the 33-year-old Internet consultant from Toronto, Canada - who wrote him a fan letter several years ago and who set up his official website - as his sole member of staff. The British heart-throb explains, "If I wanted people to know who I was, I would have become a host of a television show."

Well damn... It's news to me he even has a stylist. What does she even do, then?

Yang works with many many male actors ( Tom Cruise,RDJ,Aquaman,Matt Damon,...) once, she said that CB liked a black and confortable suit ( or something like that to say he was not interested by fashion outside of the study of a character)

That's exactly why I don't even get why he needs a stylist and what her job involves. He seems to wear pretty much the same or similar stuff most of the time anyway - crappy unimaginative/repetitive stuff when off duty, and also to interviews and such, black suits to events where he can't wear his regular stuff. And I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but it's his thing. So why would he need advice in picking his normal (mostly pretty bad) leisure wear (which he also generally wears for work stuff like junket interviews), or another black suit? It's just mind boggling to me. Clearly I don't understand what a stylist actually does.

I wouldn't have put it that rough, lol, but of course you're right! What does he need a stylist for?? I have to admit I just love the way he gives a crap about clothes and fashion. Tells me something about the guy. ;-)
